MCT-160 – this fine-focus unit is designed, first of all, for cheap X-ray television systems and for the high-accuracy radiography of plastics, composites, ceramics, rubber, light-alloy castings and similar objects when the use of stationary cable unit is impossible or economically not substantiated.

It could be used for the radiographic inspection of pipelines welds in field conditions. The optimum thickness of the wall of pipe 700mm in diameter should not exceed 15mm. When using the FOSFOMATIC system or high-speed films type KODAK HS800 or intensifying screens it is possible to inspect pipelines with pipe walls of bigger thickness.

FOSFOMATIC-35, distance 700mm, 160kV, 640W, 1st class of sensitivity as per GOST 7512-82.
At the operation in the mode of high dose sensitivity the radiographic inspection of big-thickness steels is possible.
