MCT-225 – this is light-weight portable X-ray unit of constant potential for the use in the radiography of pipelines welds in field conditions.
The optimum thickness of the wall of pipe 1420mm in diameter should not exceed 25mm. When using the FOSFOMATIC system or high-speed films type KODAK HS800 or intensifying screens it is possible to inspect pipelines with pipe walls of bigger thickness.
