BERTHOLD cross

BERTHOLD cross consists of planar safety annulus, that doesn't have any residual magnetization and inside of which there is a cylinder of mild steel split in 4 sectors. Sectors are separated by non-magnetizable grooves.
The capsule with thin brass bottom is screwed on to the cylinder.

The bottom of the capsule could be moved to the necessary distant from the object under examination by rotation.

TEST SAMPLE ASME

Test sample ASME consists of 8 welded triangles made of carbon steel and covered with copper film approximately 25/100mm thick.
Like in Berthold cross the lines, perpendicular to the lines of magnetic field, are the most sharply drawn.

TEST SAMPLE N°2

Steel rounded plaque from special mild steel or iron, diameter of 28 mm, thickness from 1 to 2, representing the roughness of round shape. All the construction is covered with copper foil 0.5 mm thick.

From the other side (side of observation) the roughness is covered with non-metallic film material, approx. 0,01 mm thick.

Plaque selon NF EN ISO 9934-3

Metal shield to measure the magnetization; meets the standard NF EN ISO 9934-3. Delivery with certificate (shield weight makes up approx. 10 kg). To be used together with measuring instrument of tangential magnetic field.

Compressed air pressure vessel

Rechargeable. Used for the alternate atomization of different liquids (used in liquid penetrant inspection and in magnetic flaw detection).
